For their take on the Vision Gran Turismo project, Lexus designers at the Calty Research Center took inspiration from the company’s racing activities in specific form the Super GT GT500 Class 2014 season and aimed at creating a Lexus car for races such as the Super GT.

The vehicle is based on the LF-LC concept, first revealed at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show. The racing version includes a number of styling elements purposed at evoking feelings and racing desire, such as the shape of the tail lamps enthused by afterburners of a jet aircraft.

The LF-LC GT Vision Gran Turismo is planned for dissemination in a free update for the PlayStation 3 exclusive title Gran Turismo 6 due to be out in spring 2015.
